Perfect

I wouldn't change a single thing about anything I ordered. Even the shipping and how everything was packed. Everything, absolutely everything was just so on point. I will definitely be buying more when I run out.

The honey is completely crystallized and unusable. I sent a message to the company about it but got no response.

The BEST !!!

After moving to the west, I missed being able to buy Buckwheat Honey. My sister, who lives in MN, told me she found a buckwheat honey locally. When I found out Ames shipped, I ordered 4 gallons. Very quickly, we used them- yes we use a lot of honey, and I also repacked them into smaller jars and gave my neighbors and friends so they could enjoy this amazing honey. Being this is the BEST buckwheat I have had, I ordered 4 more gallons, I just do not want to run out. Buckwheat honey is so good for you as well as tasting wonderful!
Thanx for offering such a plethora of honey experiences!!

Exceptionally pure buckwheat honey

I've been enjoying raw buckwheat honey for 25 years. My previous supplier in Ohio is no longer selling buckwheat honey and so I went looking for a new source. The reviews for Ames Buckwheat honey looked good and so I bought a quart. I've had the honey on oatmeal, nuts, tea and just by itself. On a scale of 1-10 this is a solid ten. The purity is exceptional - it tastes like 100% Buckwheat honey - The bees that make it appear to be pollinating predominantly buckwheat and not other plants. This is a common issue with many suppliers of buckwheat - for example buckwheat honey that contains more than a little wildflower honey because the bee's are also pollinating wildflowers. The taste if Ames Buckwheat honey is strong as you would expect from buckwheat but it doesn't have the gamey taste that I've experienced with other buckwheat honey. the bottle that I received has not yet crystalized and the texture is a thick, creamy-smooth honey that tastes great by itself. Best raw buckwheat honey I've had.
