Bee Hive & Beekeeper Rentals - Corporate & Rooftops

We Know Beekeeping

Let our 22 years of beekeeping experience help you meet your corporate sustainability goals by providing healthy honeybee hives and beekeeping services for your location or a sponsored location we find for you!

Our extensive knowledge producing artisanal honey and raising our own honeybees give us a unique perspective on beekeeping. Brian Fredericksen, owner and founder of Ames Farm, will help you create a safe and realistic plan for keeping honeybees on your land or sponsored location. Custom programs designed for educational and corporate events are welcome. We can also create a custom label and package for the honey produced on your location.

We Supply and maintain healthy mite free hives of honeybees appropriate for your needs and location. This includes one deep and medium of brood and bees and any medium honey supers they fill. Should the queen fail or swarm, we will replace her with a new queen.

When you rent bees from us, our experienced beekeepers will care for the hives and harvest the honey crop in late summer.

The typical rental season is early May until early September when the hives are moved to our farm and eventually Texas for winter.

As a honey crop is made, typically varying from 40-100 plus pounds each season per hive, we will harvest and bottle the honey for you up to 60 pounds.

Additional surcharges may apply for bottling larger harvests above that amount per hive. Custom packaging is also available! This would include jar type and labeling of your bottled honey crop—inquire with us for prices.
