When winter hits bone-chilling lows here in Minnesota (and we're talking -20F lows), we reach for a comforting mix of hot water, whiskey, lemon, and real raw honey. This is our favorite, slightly more potent variation on the classic hot toddy, so feel free to adjust according to your own tastebuds!

In a tumbler, gently stir together...
1 1/2 oz (3 tablespoons) nice quality whiskey (but not too nice)
1.5 T raw wildflower honey
2 t fresh lemon juice
1/4 C freshly boiled water
lemon slice for garnish
