We keep our 300 hives in 17 different locations in several counties across Minnesota. The major flower source being visited during the time period the honey was produced by the bees is assigned as the name of the honey variety. Each jar of honey is searchable in our beeyard database, using the hive number and location printed on the side of every container. The database provides information as to the geographical location where the honey was collected, the time period it was produced and the flavor profile.
