Each 100% pure beeswax candle is handcrafted. Natural variations in color and scent will be found based on the season in which the bees produced the wax from flower nectar. Beeswax candles burn cleanly without creating environmental toxins, making them hypo-allergenic. They burn brighter and roughly twice as long as regular wax candles. A natural film called "bloom" can develop of the candles and can be easily removed by buffing the surface of the candle with a cloth.
Taper candles will burn approximately 1 hour per inch if the wick is trimmed to 1/8" each time they are lit.
Pillar candles will burn much longer if wick is trimmed to 1/8" each time they are lit. To get a more even burn, keep 3" diameter pillar candles burning for 3-4 hours at a time. |
